
Donald Stricklin
Donald Stricklin develops technical and financial assessments of propulsion systems to enhance reliability
and engine performance while ensuring compliance with regulatory programs. Donald is expert in aircraft
engine maintenance and operations with experience leading fleet entry into service programs for major air
carriers and aircraft lessors. He has instituted improvements in engine maintenance programs yielding
demonstratable achievements in engine test cell results and enhanced flight safety by reducing in-flight
engine failures. He provides management of aircraft asset portfolios and builds relationships with OEM’s
and suppliers including administration of long-term purchase contracts and equipment leases. Donald
started his career as a mechanic and later earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Southern
Polytechnic University, as well as an MBA from Emory University. Donald is an ISM Certified Purchasing
Manager and an ISTAT certified Aircraft Appraiser who specializes in life cycle cost and values of aircraft
engines.
